Фотография входит в фотосерию «До начала времен» (2020), снятую на дрон на соленых озерах Крыма.
В течение миллионов лет почти вся наша планета была покрыта глубочайшими океанами. Это было царство морских животных и рыб. Сегодня о них нам рассказывает сама Планета... Благодаря ветрам и осадкам силуэты появляются на поверхности соленых озер. Вам просто нужно присмотреться.
Несколько лет назад в Перу в южной прибрежной пустыне под названием Плайя Медиа Луна был обнаружен многообещающий район добычи ископаемых. В 2011 году международная группа ученых из Перу, Франции, Италии, Нидерландов и Бельгии организовала полевую экспедицию, в ходе которой они обнаружили останки древнего кита Peregocetus pacificus, что означает «странствующий кит, достигший Тихого океана». Это первая бесспорная запись о скелете четвероногого кита для всего Тихого океана.

The photo is part of the photo series «Before the Beginning of Time» (2020). It was shot with a drone on the salt lakes of Crimea.

A few years ago in Peru, a promising mining area was discovered in the southern coastal desert called Playa Media Luna. In 2011, an international team of scientists from Peru, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium organized a field expedition during which they discovered the remains of the ancient whale Peregocetus pacificus, which means "wandering whale that reached the Pacific Ocean." This is the first undisputed record of a tetrapod skeleton for the entire Pacific Ocean.
